Live in care

Live in care is for those wishing to remain independently in their home but require a 24 hour carer. Stick Healthcare will provide a carer to live in your home and support you to remain living independently and enable you to continue with your chosen lifestyle.

Circumstances that require you to have a live-in carer might include:

  • Hospital discharge
  • From a care home back to living at home
  • couples who want to stay together to minimise costs
  • Transition of changing from one care agency to another
  • People who want to retire in the comfort of their own home

With the live-in care provided by Stick Healthcare, you and your family have the peace of mind that you are benefiting from expert care tailored to your needs by qualified healthcare professionals in the comfort of your home unlike care provided in other nursing or care homes.

We are aware that sharing your home with a carer can be unsettling therefore we ensure our live in carers are vetted and matched to your needs. We limit the number of carers within a care package, which helps you and your carer to develop stronger relationships therefore resulting in a higher quality of care and also allows you to have continuity and flexibility of care, particularly for those suffering from dementia where familiarity and continuity is of essence.
